£5 per 1,000 views
A compact card in the "rated by neighbours" list on every page that shows local businesses.
Shown: Fuel, food radar, bills, shop and council tax pages near the postcode people searched.
Spotlight
£10 per 1,000 views
One larger card per page with a headline and a short message. Only one spotlight is shown at a time, so the best-rated business nearby gets it.
Shown: Top of the local businesses section on the same pages.
Offer
£7.50 per 1,000 views
A coupon with a code and an end date. People tap to reveal the code, which counts as a click.
Shown: Shown alongside listings, marked as an offer with the date it ends.
One rate per type, for everyone
Every business pays the same for the same type of advert. Spotlight costs twice a listing because it is bigger and only one shows per page, never because it ranks higher. If two businesses nearby both run one, the better-rated business gets it.
Your budget, your radius
Set a monthly budget from £10 and a radius from 3 to 25 miles around a postcode. The advert stops when the budget is reached and starts again on the 1st.
Live numbers
Views and clicks appear in your portal as they happen, per advert, with this month's spend against the budget. Nothing vanity.
How ranking works
A week or two after a household uses you through LiveCheaper, they are asked three questions. Was the price honest, with no hidden fees? Did it genuinely save them money or solve the problem? Would they recommend you to a neighbour?
- 95% or betterHousehold Hero badge and 1.5x placement. Top of every relevant result.
- 85% to 94%Normal rotation.
- 75% to 84%Reduced placement.
- Under 75%Probation with a warning. Still under 75% a month later: delisted, fee or no fee.
Already listed?
You may already be here: reputable independents in each area are listed before anyone pays a penny. If households are already clicking through to you, your listing is live and free. Claim it to see your numbers, reply to ratings, and decide whether to advertise. Ratings you disagree with can be appealed; a person reads every one.
